First I hope everyone is enjoying their summer, always a great time of year! The 4th of July is one of my favorite times of the year and unfortunately this year I was not in the U.S to enjoy it.  At that time I was vacationing in Canada with my family. However, I might not have been able to enjoy the 4th this year but did get to experience Canada day in Quebec on July 1st.  Ole Quebec City is simply an amazing experience and I highly recommend it, it's the closest thing to Europe.      However this blog post is not about my vacation, it's about something a lot of people think about from time to time and that is how they can enjoy conducting their business abroad while they are vacationing at length...in essence the best of both worlds.  My answer is simple... it all depends on the business / work you are aspiring to do, in order to bring you to that point in your life. .So I am going to mention my top 3 occupations that you can achieve this ambition ...

My Son George, Areti, myself and New York time Best Selling Author Chris Guillebeau The one thing that has always been said is that “hard work pays off” and when you are recognized for your hard work it is truly very cool and humbling. Two years ago we had done an interview for New York Best Selling Author Chris Guillebeau’s popular podcast Side Hustle School.. Where we talked about the humble beginnings of Cashunt and where we are now 20 years later. I always looked at life as "I'm here and I'll take it as it goes"…and that right there was the wrong way to look at life..   In the last 10 years I realized as to how much of a gift life is and how every drop of a minute is a precious one. One of the biggest problems sometimes with business owners is not recommending their competition. Now you probably just heard that and said what the heck is Chris talking about, why in the world would why want to recommend my competition. Point taken and totally respected but sometimes you need to be the better man, however though that doesn’t mean that you are going to lose your customer, it’s telling the customer that you respect their needs and there might be a nice alternative contrary to your product. As we enter our 20th year creating these premium scavenger hunts for our clients we have to come to the realization as to what is "next". In today's world technology has consumed a good portion of our lives with the uses of smart phones and tablets. The way that we document and narrate our lives is very different than how it was maybe 15 years ago.We take photos and videos on our smart phones with the risk of losing it just by dropping the device in a pool or maybe even a device malfunction. It’s when that happens we regret it and we lose all that content forever.
