My Top 3 Side Hustles While On A Lengthy Vacation

Image
First I hope everyone is enjoying their summer, always a great time of year! The 4th of July is one of my favorite times of the year and unfortunately this year I was not in the U.S to enjoy it.  At that time I was vacationing in Canada with my family. However, I might not have been able to enjoy the 4th this year but did get to experience Canada day in Quebec on July 1st.  Ole Quebec City is simply an amazing experience and I highly recommend it, it's the closest thing to Europe.      However this blog post is not about my vacation, it's about something a lot of people think about from time to time and that is how they can enjoy conducting their business abroad while they are vacationing at length...in essence the best of both worlds.  My answer is simple... it all depends on the business / work you are aspiring to do, in order to bring you to that point in your life. .So I am going to mention my top 3 occupations that you can achieve this ambition ...

My Top 2019 Team building Suggestions

Image
It’s summertime and when it comes to the corporations, offices, and communities  that means team building season is in full swing! With that said the question is "what type of team building exercise do you want to pursue, and will that be suitable for your colleagues and or staff?"         With all due respect, a simple pig roast or cocktail party doesn’t really ooze team building. However you can include it...but after the team building event because the event will become a social conversational piece. The ultimate goal is to have a day of fun as well extending communication and relationships within your organization. So what I decided to do since I am  in that line of work to provide you was a few type of team building event you should look into. Building For A Charity  This type of team building exercise has been around now for the past several years, and is always something that is special amongst corporate circles. Charity team build...

Best Bachelorette Party Ideas 2019

Image
This is what we think are the best bachelorette ideas since we have experts in the field for close 20 years. The days of the typical bachelorette party is a thing of the past, and now girls are looking for other alternatives rather the stereotype.. times they are indeed changing. So since we have been in this space for several years (20 to be exact), we can recommend some great alternatives. If you are the maid of honor I can definitely understand you position because you are the planner, and sometimes the planning can come easy and other times challenging. So here is what I would say are the top suggestions in the new Bachelorette market. DAY OF BEAUTY What bride doesn’t just want to relax with her friends and family just with a spa day. A lot of spas have fantastic packages where they will plan the whole day with private services for your guests. Pretty much close the store for you (depends on the spa) From facials, aroma therapy packages, mani and pedi services, ...

Read the book before judging the cover ;)

When you climb this crazy hill that we call entrepreneurship people tend to look at the fruits before they look at all the hard work it took to get you there.  That is troubling to me because I find that you need to know the backstory in order to appreciate the current situation of that person's success.  A back story can be more attractive and inspiring than the product itself, at least I think so.  I am always intrigued as to how people took their creative ambition and made it into a reality.           When that is understood then it's easier for that person to understand what it took for someone to get there and inspire them to implement that ambition in their own project...but it's not always pretty.  There is a lot of sacrifice to achieve a dream...a sacrifice that might consist of not be able to attend events, shut out some negative noise, and maybe even form new circles.  These of course are hard choices, mus...

Never Give Up On Your Idea

Image
My Son George, Areti, myself and New York time Best Selling Author Chris Guillebeau The one thing that has always been said is that “hard work pays off” and when you are recognized for your hard work it is truly very cool and humbling. Two years ago we had done an interview for New York Best Selling Author Chris Guillebeau’s popular podcast Side Hustle School.. Where we talked about the humble beginnings of Cashunt and where we are now 20 years later. It was a very nice interview and with that said we were very appreciative of the opportunity to talk about it and then we moved on. Little did we know what was happening next. A year later after that interview we received an email from Chris’s people that out of 800+ side hustles that chris had interviewed we were selected to be one of the top 100 in the country and Chris wanted us to be included in his new upcoming book! This was really eye-opening and again very humbling. But it didn’t really sink until this truly beautiful book ...

The Stereotype of A Bachelorette and Bachelor has changed

"I have a strange question to ask you” … I must get that a couple of times a year easily. My response to that question is usually “sure, I have heard it all so ...go ahead and shoot :)". “Is it possible to combine the bride and grooms bachelor and bachelorette parties together?” First I say “Absolutely, It’s actually a common question for several years now”. The truth is that the world of bachelor and bachelorette parties has changed.. Jack & Jill events have been common place lately for past 7 years where the boys and the girls would rather spend more time together than apart. Why? Have no idea but I must say when I witness it when we host these type games/events, I love how it approaches us prior to the game and I love the outcome. It’s a classic comical battle of the sexxes. Usually when it comes to us, after the game they continue to celebrate together. Why not? Why not celebrate together than a part…the streotype is a thing of the past as we move forward...

Understand The Gift You Have Been Given :)

I always looked at life as "I'm here and I'll take it as it goes"…and that right there was the wrong way to look at life..   In the last 10 years I realized as to how much of a gift life is and how every drop of a minute is a precious one. My goal in this post is not to sound like a "self-help" dude but make you (the reader) realize this frame of mind as I do. When that happens you will look at things completely in a different light…That I will assure you :) As we all know we are all pages in a book, a beginning and an end, what is written in those pages are all up to us.. that is something we all need to understand. Consider life as a gift, your chances of entering this world are not that great but when you do..you start to unwrapping your gift slowly and things start to reveal. Some good some bad..but in the end we need to harness this gift and do what we love no matter what, no matter what the obstacle, and just have laser focus. By taking that approach,...

Always recommend you competition..it makes your community stronger

One of the biggest problems sometimes with business owners is not recommending their competition. Now you probably just heard that and said what the heck is Chris talking about, why in the world would why want to recommend my competition. Point taken and totally respected but sometimes you need to be the better man, however though that doesn’t mean that you are going to lose your customer, it’s telling the customer that you respect their needs and there might be a nice alternative contrary to your product. The chances of you losing that customer are far less greater than you would think. The reason why is because customers love honesty and they love being respected and by doing that even though the alternative might be a better product Ville just this they will decide to go with you instead of them just because of the pure ethics of how you run your business. Sometimes joining forces with your competitors are not a bad idea as well and the reason for that is if you have a competitor ...

Time to adapt to another game

As we enter our 20th year creating these premium scavenger hunts for our clients we have to come to the realization as to what is "next". Our reputation of recreating ourselves has been the mission from day one and continues to be with the simple factor of staying "fresh and new" and most importantly unpredictable. The moment you become predictable then you have lost and your business will start taking a nose dive. So with that said this year we decided to add another branch of our business and create a smartphone version of our game. Granted I have tried to refrain from going into that direction because we know our clients and our players and they love to hold the materials they receive and appreciate the art of it..It's something we pride ourselves on. However we do have to realize that it's 2019 and well...you also have to be relative to society today. So with that said the smartphone version is going to be a version that will be an easier version of ...

The Pen Is More Mighty Than The Swipe

In today's world technology has consumed a good portion of our lives with the uses of smart phones and tablets. The way that we document and narrate our lives is very different than how it was maybe 15 years ago.We take photos and videos on our smart phones with the risk of losing it just by dropping the device in a pool or maybe even a device malfunction. It’s when that happens we regret it and we lose all that content forever. That doesn’t need to happen because you need to start to take an old school approach of creating new narrative and documentation with a pen. Remember when it was just very simple to take photographs with a general camera, you would take the film to get developed and wait for the “surprise” as to what came out of it? It was that simple and after that you would just simply place those photographs in a photo album and enjoy them by flipping through the pages and reliving those moments. The reason why we did it is because the photo album was always present. No...
