    This year's Championship will be held on October 27th and usually for the past 3 years we have held it in Salem Ma during Haunted Happenings which is always so much fun.  But this year we are changing it up a little bit, we will be hosting the game in Harvard Square and the Back Bay area.  What changed our mind was after researching the Harvard Square area for our new game "The Havad Yahd Dash" we thought it would be the ideal place to host our championship there because there is soooo much detail in that area alone.  Also by including the Back Bay area it just expands the game so much more…the bigger the area the better.     As we did last year our finals will only include our 2 top teams of the year..we think it becomes so much more competitive when you have it that way..when we had it as the "final four" for the past 11 seasons something lacked and it just didn't seem right..but by doing it this way ..it just works like a well oiled machine. ...

One of the most viewed pages on our website is the championship page.  This is where cashunt teams can view where they rank with all the other teams for a possible shot to our annual championship.  What we have always listed were the top 100 teams of the year but we are going to cut it to the top 50, this is simply because of the page load time.  The other thing we are changing is the championship date itself, we would always host the championship game the following year in the month of April.  This was due because the season always ends in the winter and you can't expect to play a championship in the snow :) So as of this season all Championship games will be hosted in the Fall in the months of either October/November, by changing the date we keep the championship in the current season. www.cashunt.com

So earlier this year we had Tara's Tribe break what we thought was an unbreakable record held from the then record holders and current Cashunt Champs Team Jumpstart.  Now it happened again.. with one of the most competitive teams that have emerged in our 10 year history and the go by the name Peanut's Posse.  These girls came to play and play they did, they played the game using the three words we encourage each team to utilize before each and every game.  Delegate ...Improvise ... and use Strategy..and they did and the end result..Peanut's Posse is the current top spot holder for the championship game and also new record holders!  Just when you think something can't be broken....think again!

An Amazing 9th Season Championship! On April 11th we held our 9th Annual Cashunt Championship and I must say I witnessed two of the best teams compete in a very challengeing "Hide N' Seek" competition.  The teams in the final were Jumpstart from the jumpstart group and The Mustachios from the Till Group.  These two teams during their regular season games did amazing and their energy and competitive nature were unmatched to the 87 other winning teams of the year...so this was a Championship made in heaven!  The game that was representing the championship was Cashunt's Hide N' Seek.  Hide N' Seek is played in 2 stages where teams are set forth to find multiple envelopes that are hidden around the city that contain different challenges and the come back in the second stage and retrieve another game card that will lead them to 4 more new location of mystery envelopes.  Both teams started off in a flash but when the smoke settled Jumpstart came out not only...

It is that time again and right now from the looks of it we have out four teams that will be pitted against each other at our annual championship on April 11,2010 those teams are: The GoGATtters vs. Mustachios vs. Sneaky Strays vs. Sunday River Divas Congrats to our final four!!!! Championship To Be Pushed To April 2010 Due to the unexpected traffic that we have this ninth season of the game, we are booked right into the 1st week of December which is uncanny. The norm usually is that the season ends in October and then we have our annual Championship in November. But with the recent press and the fantastic response to the game our season is extended. Due to this we want every team to get a shot at the championship, but we can't obviously hold a championship in December due to the weather. So we came with a decision to hold the championship in April, because the weather is much better and the game we have planned for the championship "hide n' seek" is best played in better weather conditions. If we see this growing into a trend again next year, all our championships will be performed the following spring. The top 4 will be notified immediately after the season is done, so check the leader board and see where you currently rank. I know to so...

We Are About To Make Things Interesting For The Championship :) As some of you are clearly aware the Championship is slowly approaching and we can't wait!!! But this year we might throw in a little twist.. In a couple of weeks all winning teams will be contacted in regards to a new challenge to basically boost their score and possibly enter the final four. How this is going to work is that all winning teams will be given a clue as to where a "Golden Ticket" for a 1000 points is hidden. Once that clue is given out the first team to find it and photograph themselves with it will recieve and additional 1000 points to their current score ranking. What is exciting about this is that any team can sabotage a current top 4 contender or a top 4 contender can strengthen their lead with this additional 1000 points. In the end this will turn interesting and exciting! We will provide you with further infor in the next two weeks, past players check your e-mail during the first week of ...

TOP 4 CHANGING ALMOST EVERY WEEK! In the 9 seasons of Cashunt I think this is the first time that the top four are changing a little more rapidly than in the past. Which tells us that the competition level to be placed in the final four has definately been raised. Usually when you are either in first or second place in the past that means you pretty much reached an untouchable score and is a given that you are in the finals at the end of the season, not so in Season 9. The top 2 spots have changed 3 times in the last 3 weeks, and that is truly amazing to see being that we are only 8 weeks into the season! We have much more game play coming up so just when you think you have a comfortable lead guess again , because it might get wiped away very soon..

Meet Your Season 9 Leaders A Score That Will Be Tough To Beat! It's only week two of Season 9 of Cashunt and we already have a team to beat...yup that's right. The Debuantes scored 11,050 points which not only is it a high score to begin with but almost broke the all time record that is being held by Fidelity Investments! They did so well that we actually might see this team at the end of the season. It's not to often you see 10's or in this case 11's in this game. Also, this was a four person team that did this in the dead of winter. One Word...Impressive. So we here at Cashunt tip our hats, and wish you the best of luck.. Championship Might Be Pushed Two Weeks There could be a very good chance that we might have to push the Championship two weeks because of the season extending into November. We are very pleased as to what we have seen this season and the demand has become stronger for most versions of the Cashunt family of games. So with that being said we want everyone in the 2008 season to have a crack at possibly ranking top 4 for the championship. It is not official, but it might happen we will let you know in the coming weeks.

A Small Family Breaks Into The Top 4! This week a small family by the name Panagopoulos broke into the top 4 by competeing in "The Great Family of The Year Competition" Not only did they recieve a very beautiful trophy but they also as of now are currently in the top 4. They had indicated they deligated which events to do to collect as many points as they could in a shorten amount of time. As you may know a cashunt is typically a 3 hr game...they did it in 2. So as of now they have the 4th spot, congrats Panagopoulos family.

Fall And Winter Cashunt Questions As some of you might already know, we have started booking our fall and winter cashunts for 2008 and the demand has been great, so first of all thank you :) The one question we are getting is...does the winning score qualify for this years Championship? Well as you know the this year's championship is 11.16.2008 so any game prior to the that date can possibly qualify depending on your winning score for this years championship. As far as any game after the 16th of November all those scores rank for the Cashunt Championship IX in 2009. Hopefully that clears the confussion:)

There Is No Stopping Team Leigh Roy It has been a couple of months now and Team Leigh Roy has been number 1 for a good part of the season. We have had general games, social games, even corporate games but none of these teams have knocked this team of it's perch. So with that I say congrats Team Leigh Roy you definately deserve the position you are at, now question remains can you become champion?

Public hunts qualify for the championship? People have been asking me from time to time when it comes to our public hunts one question. "Do the winners of the public hunts qualify for the championship?" the answer is absolutely! Why wouldn't it? Anyone that plays the game and is in contendership for the championship will be invited. That simple folks, teams come from any direction.

TEAM LEE ROY came, hunted and CONQUERED to FIRST PLACE!! When we first met these two teams Team Lee Roy and The Bride and her Biddies we knew these girls were out to win! Both these teams were so competitive that they almost aced the CASHUNT which has never happened in the history of this game. Also they both set new high scores for the season b&hb had a score of 11,175 and team lee roy came in with 11,750 which set a new high score for the season and top seed for the championship. This game was a "nail biter" to the end and that is the esscence of what a CASHUNT is all about. Cheers!

Team South Gets Knocked Out Of 1st Place! Just when you think you have the top spot for the season, you can get knocked off the following week just as quickly. Team South had the top spot for two weeks for the season untll The Mammas came in a blew them right out of the water. The Mammas claim the top seed for this Falls Cashunt Championship VIII, the question is will they keep that spot? I just love the competition so far with all the teams that are playing year, it is a really fun and funny thing to witness.

CASHUNT CHAMPIONSHIP VIII DATE IS ANNOUNCED! So far so great with this seasons Cashunt teams! I would probably say the best teams I have seen so far. With that being said a date has been annouced for November 16th in Boston. As always it will be a different game , different challenges, different championship. NEW CASHUNT LEADERS FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP! TEAM SOUTH As of today we have new a first place team for the Championship this October at Cashunt Championship VIII. As some of you might know we take the 4 best teams of the year and pit them against each other for prizes, etc.
